An old 19th century rural village where time seems to have stopped still
Its strong walls were used to host the Vallombrosan monks ejected, as a result of the Napoleonic laws,
from the historic Badia di Passignano abbey nearby which dominated the rustic landscape of these lands, infusing them with spirituality.
